At ATS we take our responsibility for safeguarding very seriously. Our staff hold Enhanced DBS certificates including the Children’s Barred List and any appropriate Overseas checks. Our policy is to renew DBS checks every 3 years in line with government guidance and best practice.
Additionally, our staff wear ID cards displaying their DBS Certificate number and office contact details. Please note our engineers do not carry their original DBS certificates with them on regular visits.
Our recruitment process follows DfE guidance, and because of the nature of work all posts are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974).
As part of our staff induction we complete safeguarding training and establish eligibility for working in the U.K. as well as checking relevant paperwork, experience, and certificates.
