At ATS we take our responsibility for safeguarding very seriously. All our technicians and engineers have been Enhanced CRB or DBS checked since 2004, and our policy is to renew our DBS checks every 3 years in line with advice from local authorities.
We publish our staff’s DBS numbers and dates on our website along with photos and relevant qualifications. Additionally we wear ID cards with our DBS and contact details printed whenever we are onsite.
As part of our staff induction we complete safeguarding training, and we establish their eligibility for working in the U.K. as well as checking any relevant paperwork and certificates.
We will not send engineers awaiting their DBS unaccompanied to site during school hours, and we will always check with the school before sending an engineer awaiting their DBS out of hours.
